Do Signals Repaint?
Quantzee indicators use confirmed-bar logic — signals never change after the candle closes.
No. Quantzee indicators do not repaint.
What “repainting” means
A repainting indicator is one whose signals change after the fact — you might see a buy arrow on your historical chart that wasn’t actually visible in real time. Repainting makes backtests look great but ruins live trading.
How Quantzee handles this
Every signal-generating Quantzee indicator uses confirmed-bar logic: a signal only prints once the candle has closed, and once printed it never changes. What you see on the historical chart is exactly what you would have seen at that moment in real time.
What this means for you
- Your backtest matches live trading. Visually scroll back and trust what you see.
- Wait for the candle to close. Acting mid-candle defeats the design — the signal isn’t confirmed yet.
- Alerts only fire on close. TradingView alerts on Quantzee indicators trigger at confirmed bar close, by design.
If you ever observe what looks like a repainted signal, contact us with a screenshot — we treat it as a high-priority bug.
